About Us
Where glitter meets intention.
Welcome to the Resinate community. Resinate is a grant funded program sponsored by ScarletWell, a public health initiative at Rutgers that promotes wellness across eight dimensions. Through our workshops, we support emotional, social, and spiritual wellness by creating space for creativity and connection.
We host free resin jewelry workshops where Rutgers students, staff, and faculty can design and create their own earrings, necklaces, and keychains. No experience is required.

Our Mission
At Resinate, the magic isn’t just in the glitter. It’s in the making. Our mission is to bring the Rutgers community together through beginner-friendly resin jewelry workshops that spark creativity, encourage reflection, and support everyday wellness. We create space for people to express themselves, connect with others, and leave with handcrafted pieces they can wear with pride and confidence.

Our Values

1
Creation
We believe in getting your hands a little messy. Resin is our medium, but self-expression is the goal. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about making something that feels like you.
2
Wellness
For us, wellness can look like glitter, color, and quiet focus. It’s the deep breath you take while pouring resin and the calm that comes from creating something with your own two hands.
3
Belonging
Pull up a chair. Whether you come with friends or show up solo, there’s a spot for you at our table. No experience needed, just a willingness to try.

Our
Story

Get to Know Us
After wrapping up her first grant hosting Bob Ross–inspired paint and sip workshops, Priya, the founder of Resinate, realized something was missing… jewelry. There were plenty of art events, but not many where you could create something you could actually wear. When she discovered resin jewelry, it clicked. It was beginner-friendly, endlessly customizable, and a little bit magical. No complicated tools, no heat machines, just creativity and sparkle in about 15 minutes.

Now in her second grant year, Priya and her team will welcome 170+ students, staff, and faculty into the Resinate community this Spring, spreading wellness and confidence one handmade piece at a time. She hopes to share her lifelong love of jewelry and spark that same joy in others.
